Dinosaur Provincial Park in Canada

We drove into Dinosaur Provincial Park near Drumheller Canada so that I could interview Dr. Phil Currie. He is one of the worlds leading Paleontologist and has been a hero of mine since I was very young. I still cannot believe that I had the chance to sit with him for several hours and as him all the things I have ever wanted to ask. What an incredibly honor for me!

On the way out of Drumheller we drove past the largest dinosaur on the planet. Yes, he's giant. And yes those are full sized cars underneath him. Pretty wild huh.

We went into the park and had a chance to check out the incredible rock formations that are loaded with dinosaur bones. There are so many in these formations, it could take hundreds or even thousands of years to uncover all the bones.

The park has a nice museum with some cool exhibits. Here are a couple of raptors attacking a helpless Hadrosaur. Poor guy.

The picture of the great big Dinosaur(in the parking lot) reminds me of a Hotel along I-75 in Tennessee. I remember it so well because that is where my parents stay when they come to see me(it is the half way point), and I drive by it everytime I go see them. The Hotel kind of sits in the background, and this enormous T-Rex (I think)stands hovering over the highway! Its a bit unrealistic looking though, The last time I saw it they had it painted this odd shade of green, but cool non the less!!!
