Heading Home After a Long Trip

Well, after being on the road for 14 days, we headed back to Salt Lake City and then flew home to San Antonio. It was a great trip but I am ready to sleep in my own bed and prepare and eat my own food. I had the time of my life and just cannot believe my good fortune. I had the chance to interview 14 of the most incredible paleontologists and fossil experts in the world, as well as getting to visit numerous museums along the way.

This is one of the last sites we saw as we drove back towards Salt Lake City. Mother Nature decided to give us a grand send off. The picture does not do justice to the majesty of this image.

Here is another look at the mountains near Salt Lake City. I loved the city, but am glad the Spurs beat the Jazz!!! Wahoooooo!!!

This picture pretty much sums up the insanity of this trip. This is the co-creator and director of the series. He's seen being gored by a woolly rhino. The rhino was fine. Kreg has not been seen since....
