While in Salt Lake City we had the chance to look at the remains of a brand new species of dinosaur. This new dinosaur is named Allosaurus madseni. It just so happens that Allosaurus is my favorite dinosaur, and it was named after my all time favorite paleontologist, and good friend, Jim Madsen.
This is our director, Kreg, and the paleontologist who found the new dinosaur. It was such a thrill for me to see this new critter up close.
These are some of the bones that are still being removed from the rock!
