The Royal Tyrrell Museum in Canada

We arrived at the Royal Tyrrell museum and filmed late into the night. I was like a kid in a candy shop. While the crew did their jobs, I got to wander around and check out every display. This museum is certainly one of the best in the world. And I had it all to myself. Whahahahahah!!!!!

This is a life-sized Albertosaurus model. It is so realistic looking, I was caught off guard when I saw it.

Yes, this is me acting like an idiot. But I couldn't help myself. What was I supposed to do, act normal? Come on...I had the museum to myself man!

Here is a model of a huge rhino. Pretty cool huh?

This is an Albertosaurus that has killed a Ceratopsian.

Driving Through Montana

I spent the night in Billings Montana and drove 9 hours into Canada. I ran into a big snow storm about 2 hours into my drive. Living in San Antonio, one forgets what snow actually looks like. At first I didn't know what it was. I thought it was ash from a forest fire. But then when I saw two snow plows coming my way, I sort of figured it out. Duh!!!!

Trip to South Dakota

We arrived in South Dakota late this afternoon. The flight in was pretty nice, although we hit some nasty turbulence.
The first place we went to the Black Hills Institute of Geological Research museum in Hill City. They have an incredible collection of dinosaurs, including a complete Acrocanthosaurus, two Tyrannosaurus and a herd of Gallimimus. We got the chance to visit their warehouses where they store hundreds of bones. The highlight of this trip was when we got to see them prepping the skeletons of a T-rex, Triceratops and Duckbill.

I left at 5:00 pm and drove five hours into Wyoming and then Montana.
