Some of the real highlights for me involved holding some incredible raptor material, juvenile allosaurus bones, and some remarkable Tyrannosaurus fossils. I felt like a child again as I had the opportunity to open hundreds of drawers, and look at thousands of fossils. Words can't describe what it was like to be able to help prep a Triceratops skeleton, with approximately 25% of its body covered in fossilized skin. Or to look at Tenontosaurus bone with a Deinonychus tooth embedded in it.
But although seeing these fossils and being allowed access to things that most people never get to see was exciting, the best part of being involved with Jurassic Fight Club was that I had the opportunity to interview and spend time with some of the world's leading paleontologist and dinosaur experts. I got a chance to not only meet and interview two of my all-time favorite paleontologist, Dr. Phil Currie and Dr. Larry Martin, but I also had a chance to sit down and have lunch and dinner with these men. It was truly like a dream come true for me. It was such an honor to be able to sit there and talk about their discoveries, their ideas and their concepts on prehistoric life.
I am currently working on a project that will allow me to take "you" behind the scenes to see some of the things that I've been able to see. It will give you all a firsthand look at what goes on behind the scenes of some of these remarkable museums. I'll keep you posted!

I am really looking forward to it!!!
I love your series. I've known Dr. Larry Martin for years and have gone to two of his digs, the Natural Trap in Wyoming and the Newcastle, Wyoming, site of Jurassic dinosaurs. I'm going to post some photos of both digs one of these days on my blog. I'll try to figure out which is the pale you and the tan you.
Thanks Catherine,
Dr. Martin is absolutely one of my favorite paleontologists. He is incredibly nice, and so smart. I envy that you had the chance to dig with him. After watching the final episode, you might think I'm a chameleon!!!
